How do you know the name and rank of the Family Liason Officer?
Do you mean if you have a concern you need to know, or in general that you should know who they are on each particular day that you visit?

You may never need to speak to a Family Liaison Officer, but it's useful to know who it is, just in case. In 10 years, I've only spoken to one once.

At Coffield, the name and rank of the duty Family Liaison Officer is posted on the wall of the registration picket when you enter. If you don't see a notice, just ask the officers at registration who the duty Family Liaison Officer is for that weekend when you get there.

All TDCJ officers wear name badges.
There and back again....
