a few months ago My Cowboy stopped writing and phone calls and emails out of the blue, it went on for almost a month, which was really out of character for him as he used to email me a few times everyday and if I didn't respond he'd go in to panic mode and send me an email asking if he'd upset me or said something dumb, he also used to call me 3 times a week, sometimes more and I'd always get at least 1 letter ever 2 weeks, at first I thought he was maybe out of money? then as time passed I started to think maybe he just decided not to write anymore? Anyway, I kept sending him emails (corrlinks) letters and cards to let him know that I was still here if he nedded me! :) Then out of the blue I got a letter from him......dated almost a month earlier! He'd been sent to the hole and was unable to use the computer for emails and had lost his phone privelages, he'd wrote me a letter telling me that he wouldn't be able to contact me and the reason why the day he was sent there, he also included his incident report, but I didn't recieve it for almost a month! the next day he called me as soon as he was released! he explained that he was going crazy with worry that I'd forget him or replace him or just think he'd ditched me, he didn't recieve any of the letters or cards I sent him until 2 days before he got out! So hang on in there and keep sending him things, I'm sure you'll hear from him as soon as it's possible, he's probably just as worried as you are! My Cowboy is in a detention centre as he hasn't been sentenced yet.......but since that whole experience he hasn't gotten in trouble since, he says he can't go all that time without being in contact with me again, he still worries that I will replace or forget him, which will never happen of course! :)
It's hard to wait for something
that might not happen......
But it's even harder to give up
when it's everything you want!
