TDCJ Victim Services Division
« on: May 11, 2014, 10:38:54 am »
Some might be surprised to see a forum that advocates for friends and families of inmates devoting any space at all to the victims of the crimes that the inmates have committed. Many assume that to be supportive of inmates and their friends and families, one is naturally indifferent to (or worse, hostile to) the feelings or situation of the victims.

This is not the case at Texas Prison Support.

Victims can, and often do, play a part in the trial, conviction, rehabilitation and eventual parole of many inmates and to ignore them is naive and unhelpful in understanding the entire incarceration process.

TDCJ has a Division that provides victim services to those in Texas and beyond. They can be contacted at:

Texas Department of Criminal Justice
