Good news; and a lot sooner than I expected. I didn't know TDCJ could move that fast in a sensible direction ;)

I think they were advised that they were on dodgy legal ground and would need to do something to avert a class action suit being brought that they would almost certainly lose.

TDCJ inmates can now apply to marry their fiance or fiancee face to face within the prison:
